This event will bring awareness to Mental Health and Suicide Prevention Resources & Services available in Rural West TN.

Removing stigma and providing education are key to improving the quality of care for Tennesseans. The collaboration approach is to shed light on services often right in front of us, but seemingly hidden because we don’t know where to access the services. All too often, people in need of services don’t know where to turn for access and support due to the stigma associated with receiving care for mental health needs.

This conference will be educational for teachers, counselors, social workers, mental health workers, law enforcement, correctional officers, and anyone in a role who would like a deeper understanding about mental health issues and how to support individuals across the Lifespan. It is important we continue the conversation and provide the platform for communities, so together a solution driven approach will be addressed to help face the challenges of mental health and suicide prevention education.
